This 12V 150AH LiFePO₄ battery consists of four 3.2V cells. The single-cell cutoff voltage is 2.5V, and the maximum output voltage is 3.65V. So, the low cutoff voltage of this battery is 2.5V x 4 = 10V, and the maximum output voltage is 3.65V x 4 = 14.6V. The battery has a built-in battery management system that protects it from stopping discharge when the output voltage is below 10V.
It is recommended to use a dedicated LiFePO₄ battery appliance with a DC charging voltage between 14.2V and 14.6V and a charging current less than 100A to charge them.
If you connect two such batteries in series, which requires 29.2V input voltage to charge the batteries. However, please note that for battery packs connected in series, although the total voltage is 24V, during the charging process, due to factors such as battery internal resistance, a charging voltage slightly higher than the total voltage of the battery pack is required to fully charge the battery. Better quality battery packs are usually equipped with BMS to protect the batteries. BMS has strict voltage and current control requirements during the charging process.
For a small push-type floor machine for home use, the general running time requirement is 5 hours, using 24V lithium batteries, then we will recommend using 80Ah lithium batteries, i.e. 400W × 5h / 25.6V ≈ 78wh.Therefore, from a theoretical perspective, for the lithium batteries needed, batteries with a slightly larger capacity can be selected in actual use, such as 80Ah-90Ah lithium batteries, so that factors such as battery loss and efficiency can be taken into account to ensure that the floor machine can run normally for about hours.
12V 150Ah battery: Suitable for most common small Floor Machine devices. These devices are usually designed to use a 12V power supply and can be directly matched without requiring additional voltage conversion devices. 24V 150Ah battery: Mainly used for some Floor Machine devices with high power requirements and designed to have a voltage input of 24V. If it is applied to 12V equipment, it may damage the equipment due to excessive voltage; while a 12V battery will not work properly when used in 24V equipment.
